Ken
O'Byrne spoke recently about the appointment of his firm, Town
& County Services, as official sub distributors of Merit
Industries product during the recent London Show.
Commenting on the deal, he said: "it’s a product
line I have been associated with for many years. Link that with
Merit's commitment to their entertainment terminal, with annual
software upgrades and progressive hardware development, I see
lots of reasons for growth in the market, and we are totally
delighted with the appointment." |
John
Farrington of UK distributor Cosmic Video Amusements responded,
"We are looking forward to a healthy 2005, and with additional
products available, we are looking to Ken and his team to help
the roll out."
Meanwhile, ATEI saw Cosmic join forces with Enterprise Inns
PLC, Castlemaine XXXX and Merit Industries to run two TournaChamp
show tournaments.
Day one-was played out on the new Force 2005 game, Box Drop,
and the winner, by the narrowest of margins, was Mark Stewart
of The Coachman Pub in Northern Ireland. His $600 top prize
was immediately exchanged with CVA for an upgrade kit for one
of his Force 2004 games. A digital camera and Castlemaine lager
were on offer to second and third players.
Day two was played out on another new release, Meteor Shower,
with the $600 top prize scooped by Dave Carlyle. A Home Cinema
surround sound system and lager went to the runners up. |
