A
new exclusive UK distribution agreement has been renewed and
agreed between Californian based manufacturer Global VR and
it’s UK distributer Cosmic Video Amusements. Against the
perfect backdrop of the recent IAAPA exhibition, staged at the
orange county convection centre in orlando florida, the new
contract was approved, signed and sealed with the joint commitment
from both companies overtly on display.
Global VR president Jim Derose commended on the deal ,saying.”We
are pleased to be associated with Cosmic Video in the UK and
we are confident that the experience and expertise that resides
in the company will prove to be a asset for both CVA and customers
and Global VR.
“We have had terrific success with many global VR products
in the past and it is our plan to deliver products that are
specifically designed for the international market, the first
of which will debut to ATEI in January. Our partnership with
CVA will allow us to not only deliver amazing products but also
provide the service that our customers deserve.”
Terry Farr of CVA responded :”Contracts can sometimes
be onerous, but such is our relationship with the Global VR
team that we can discuss both our needs and concerns in open
forum and bring them to a quick and speedy resolution .I like
contracts that are brought out, discussed , tuned resolved,
signed and then put in the drawer not to be revisited until
their renewal date. It’s vital that both parties listen
and respond positively to each others’needs; that’s
teamwork.” The last word on the partnership came from
global VR’s VP of international sales Mehdi Eghbal. “I
have been working with Cosmic now for over two years since I
joined GVR,” he said.”Terry far and his company
are a dedicated professional group of people who take what they
do seriously. The front line representation fror Global has
been tremendous, especially from the after sales service point
of view. This was an easy resigning. I look forward to many
great years. I look forward to many great years ahead with Cosmic
Video Amusements.”
Working as the exclusive UK distributor for Global VR since
it entered in 2002. CVA has brought several big name licences
and innovative games to the UK market. Titles include Need for
Speed Underground, PGA Tour, Aliens Exttermination and more
currently NASCAR, Paradise Lost, America’s Army and a
