The TV football pundits have many colloquial phrases for the spectacular games that fill our screens throughout the soccer season, ‘a game of two halves…end to end action…the ref needs specs’, but when it comes down to it, a blood and guts victory is the sweetest testimony any game can have today, and this was just one of those games! London & Essex, sponsored by Cosmic Video Amusement, enjoyed a 2 -1 Cup Victory over Durning FC this month in front of a supportive crowd and under flood lights at the Oakside Stadium in Barkingside, Essex. Fitness, grit and determination won the night with player manager and industry stalwart CVA’s own Jonathan Mays playing a strong centre back position and making some crucial tackles. “What a night” commented Jonathan ”playing with two of my brothers in a cup winning game, was one of the proudest moments of our football lives….what a game!”
